Your journey begins with a scenic drive through the rolling hills of Tuscany. Upon arrival in Montepulciano, you will discover one of the most beautiful hilltop towns in the region dressed in holiday magic. First, join your tour leader for a walking tour through ancient squares while admiring panoramic views.
Once you reach Piazza Grande, you will step into the heart of the Christmas market. Dozens of wooden stalls offer local delicacies, handmade crafts, and festive decorations. Meanwhile, the scent of mulled wine and roasted chestnuts fills the air. Afterward, you can visit Santa’s Castle, a delightful experience filled with holiday activities. To finish your morning, we explore a 14th-century underground cellar for a guided tasting of local wines and specialties.
After lunch, we continue our Arezzo and Montepulciano Christmas Markets adventure by heading to the city of Arezzo. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a guided 45-minute walking tour through the beautifully decorated historic center. Because of its unique architecture and sparkling ornaments, Arezzo offers one of the most renowned markets in Italy.
