Depart from Florence and escape into the Tuscan countryside on this cooking class day trip from Florence, including free time in San Gimignano. Travel comfortably by 8-seat air-conditioned minivan, with round-trip transportation included.
Enjoy a hands-on Tuscan cooking class in a small group at an authentic farmhouse run by locals. You’ll prepare a traditional meal with homemade antipasti, two pasta dishes (one handmade fresh pasta and one traditional pasta), two classic Tuscan sauces, and a traditional second course, using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
During the class, enjoy a tasting of three local wines: Vernaccia di San Gimignano, Chianti Colli Senesi, and Chianti Colli Senesi Invecchiato. Sit down to enjoy the meal you’ve prepared together and receive the recipes to recreate the dishes at home.
In the afternoon, visit the medieval town of San Gimignano, with approximately one hour of free time to explore its famous towers and charming streets.
