Day 1Arrival to Rome

Your Italian adventure begins in the Eternal City. Check in from 3:00 PM, or drop off your bags and start exploring if you arrive early. At 5:00 PM, meet your tour leader and fellow travelers for a welcome briefing and an evening orientation walk, taking in the Colosseum and Roman Forum glowing at sunset.
End your first day with a traditional Roman dinner in a cozy trattoria—savor authentic flavors, share stories, and toast the start of your journey through Italy.

Day 2Rome: Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Vatican City & Lots More

Begin with a 4-hour orientation walk through Rome’s historic streets, discovering Piazza Navona, the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon, and the Trevi Fountain—don’t forget to toss a coin for good luck! The tour ends at Vatican City, where you can explore St. Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican Museums at your own pace, or join an optional guided visit to the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel.

Enjoy Rome at your leisure—wander through lively piazzas, uncover hidden corners, or dine in a traditional trattoria or modern eatery.

Day 3Rome: Free Day

Today is yours to explore Rome at your own pace.

­ Whether you want to revisit your favorite spots or discover something new, the city offers endless opportunities. You could wander through the charming Trastevere district, enjoy shopping along Via del Corso, or relax in one of Rome’s beautiful parks. The day is yours to enjoy as you like!

Day 4Pompeii - Sorrento

This morning, board a high-speed train to Naples, then continue to Pompeii, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the remarkably preserved ruins of villas, temples, and theaters frozen in time by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. Entry is included, with the option to join a guided tour for deeper insights.

By late afternoon, arrive in Sorrento, a charming coastal town overlooking the Bay of Naples. After check-in, enjoy an orientation walk through its lively streets, known for ceramics, lace, and handmade sandals.

Day 5Capri Island

Set sail from Sorrento on a scenic boat trip to the breathtaking island of Capri. Cruise across crystal-clear waters as your guide shares stories of the island’s history and beauty. On arrival, enjoy free time to explore at your own pace—wander charming streets, relax on beaches, or visit the famous Blue Grotto. For stunning views, take the optional chairlift to Mount Solaro, Capri’s highest point.

In the late afternoon, cool off with a swim at an ancient Roman natural pool overlooking the coast—a magical spot to enjoy the sunset with a refreshing drink.

Day 6Positano and Amalfi Coast

Set out on a breathtaking journey along the Amalfi Coast, one of the world’s most scenic drives. Travel past dramatic cliffs, fishing villages, and turquoise waters as you make your way to two coastal gems.

Spend a couple of hours exploring the historic town of Amalfi. Visit its impressive cathedral, relax on the beach, or enjoy authentic local treats in the heart of town. In the afternoon, continue to Positano, famous for its pastel-colored houses cascading down the cliffs. Stroll through winding lanes, browse chic boutiques, or take a refreshing swim in the Mediterranean.

Return to Sorrento for your final evening. Enjoy a relaxed dinner, pick up last-minute souvenirs, or toast the sunset over the Bay of Naples.

Note: For smaller groups, this itinerary may be experienced by boat, adding even more adventure to your Amalfi Coast day.

Day 7Naples - Florence

Say goodbye to the Amalfi Coast as we travel north. Our first stop is Naples, the birthplace of pizza and one of Italy’s most vibrant cities. Enjoy a guided orientation walk through its lively streets, from Piazza del Plebiscito to the grand San Carlo Theatre, before tasting authentic Neapolitan pizza for lunch.

In the afternoon, board a high-speed train to Florence—the cradle of the Renaissance. After check-in, join your guide for a welcome walk through the historic center. Admire landmarks such as the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, and the Ponte Vecchio as Florence’s timeless beauty unfolds before you.

Spend the evening discovering Florence at your own pace. Whether it’s dining in a traditional trattoria, sipping wine in a cozy café, or exploring hidden corners of the city, Florence offers endless charm.

Day 8Tuscany: Wine, Olive Oil, and Unforgettable Scenery

This morning, journey into the heart of Tuscany as we leave Florence behind for the rolling hills of Chianti. Along the way, your guide will share stories of Tuscany’s wine traditions and rich history.

At a local winery, discover the art of winemaking and enjoy a tasting of Chianti’s world-class wines. For an enhanced experience, you can also opt for a wine-and-food pairing to savor the best local flavors together.

In the afternoon, explore San Gimignano, the “Manhattan of Tuscany,” famous for its medieval towers and panoramic views. Wander cobblestone streets, browse artisan shops, and don’t miss the chance to try award-winning gelato at one of the town’s historic gelaterie.

Return to Florence in the late afternoon, with the evening free to relax, enjoy dinner at a traditional trattoria, or continue exploring the city’s vibrant streets.

Day 9Pisa and Cinque Terre

Today’s adventure takes you by train to two of Italy’s most iconic destinations.
Begin in Pisa, where you’ll have time to admire the world-famous Leaning Tower, along with the Cathedral and Baptistery in the stunning Piazza dei Miracoli. Capture the perfect photo and soak in the beauty of this historic site.
 
Continue to the breathtaking Ligurian coast to explore Cinque Terre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit villages such as Riomaggiore, Vernazza, and Manarola, each with colorful houses perched dramatically on the cliffs. Stroll along narrow lanes, browse local shops, or opt for a scenic walk along the coastal trails for sweeping Mediterranean views. You might also treat yourself to fresh seafood or a glass of local white wine overlooking the sea.
 
Return to Florence in the evening, full of memories from a day that blends cultural wonders with natural beauty.

Day 10Full Free Day in Florence

This day is dedicated to exploring the timeless beauty of Florence, one of the world’s most iconic art cities

Known for its rich history, stunning architecture, and world-renowned museums, Florence is a treasure trove of artistic and cultural experiences waiting to be discovered. Whether you’re an art lover, a history buff, or simply looking to enjoy the city’s charm, today offers a variety of exciting options to enhance your stay.

Day 11Venice

This morning, board a train north to Venice—the one-of-a-kind city built on water. Watch the scenery change as you leave Florence behind and arrive in this enchanting lagoon city.

After check-in, begin your orientation walk from Ponte degli Scalzi, your first glimpse of Venice’s winding canals. Continue through the maze of streets and bridges to discover landmarks such as Piazza San Marco, St. Mark’s Basilica, and the Doge’s Palace.

Once the tour ends, the evening is yours to enjoy Venice at your own pace. Wander over romantic bridges, dine in a canalside trattoria, or simply soak in the city’s magical night atmosphere.

Day 12Free Morning in Venice - Murano & Burano Islands

Free morning in Venice dedicated to your preferred activities. In the afternoon take a 4h boat tour to visit the islands of Murano, Burano & Torcello organized by our local supplier to check out the many colorful houses and the glass factories. You will learn about the age-old handcrafts that brought these little islands fame from the quality Murano glass and Burano lace being made first-hand. It’s the perfect trip from Venice with a combination of history and behind-the-scenes action! Free evening.

Optional Activity:
A classic gondola ride , the perfect way to see Venice from its most iconic perspective.

Day 13Farewell Venice

Enjoy a final breakfast in the magical city of canals before saying goodbye to your fellow travelers. Depending on your departure time, you may have a few last moments to wander Venice’s charming streets, sip an espresso in Piazza San Marco, or pick up a final souvenir.

As your journey comes to an end, take with you unforgettable memories of Italy’s art, culture, food, and breathtaking landscapes. Arrivederci—until your next Italian adventure!

If you need to return back to Rome we can organize the train tickets in advance for our passengers. Make sure you inform us in advance about your travel plans in order to help you as much as possible.

We meet at the reception of your hostel in Rome at 5:00 pm. We collaborate with centrally located hostels located 5/10 minutes walking distance from Roma Termini train station.
