  • Full day tour one day by train from 07:30am to 7:30pm with our tour leader to visit Pisa ( 1h30) to allow you to visit the leaning tower & main monuments. Then continue towards the best of Cinque Terre: Manarola and Vernazza

Day 1Pisa & Cinque Terre – Landmarks & Coastal Beauty

Early Start & Meet-Up
Your adventure begins at 7:30 AM in front of the pharmacy at Florence’s main train station, where you’ll meet your friendly tour leader and fellow travelers for an exciting journey by train.

  • First Stop: Pisa – Capture the perfect picture at Piazza dei Miracoli, home to the world-famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, Pisa Cathedral, Baptistery, and Campo Santo. Wander through this stunning square and take in its breathtaking architecture before heading to our next destination.
  • Cinque Terre – A Coastal Paradise. Get ready to explore the jaw-dropping coastline and colorful villages of Cinque Terre, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
  • Riomaggiore – Start with a scenic orientation walk, then enjoy free time to explore the charming streets, grab lunch, or sip on local wine.
  • Manarola – The most picturesque village, filled with fishing boats and postcard-worthy views—don’t forget your camera!
  • Vernazza – Relax on the beach, take a refreshing swim, or soak up the Mediterranean sun before heading back to Florence.

🕗 Return Time: Around 8:00 PM – the perfect time to enjoy a relaxed evening in Florence after a day of adventure.

 

Day 2The Best of Tuscany – Wine Tasting & San Gimignano

Late Morning Departure (9:40 AM)
Sleep in a little before we depart from Piazza della Calza (Porta Romana) for a day of wine, rolling hills, and medieval charm.

  • First Winery Experience – Taste four exquisite Tuscan wines, including the famous Chianti, plus a 30-year-old balsamic vinegar and truffle-infused extra virgin olive oil. Savor the flavors as you learn about Tuscany’s rich winemaking traditions.
  • Second Winery & Vernaccia Tasting – Journey to another stunning vineyard, renowned for Vernaccia di San Gimignano, one of Tuscany’s most prestigious white wines. Tour the cellars, stroll through the vineyards, and discover wine and food pairings from expert winemakers.
  • Explore San Gimignano – Wander through this UNESCO-listed medieval town, shop for local delicacies, and admire the famous tower-studded skyline. Don’t leave without trying gelato from a world-champion gelateria!

🕔 Return to Florence: Approx. 5:00 PM – time for a bittersweet goodbye after two unforgettable days in Tuscany.

Departures

  • The trip to Pisa & Cinque Terre is every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
  • The Tuscany tour is every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Additional Info

  • The tour to Pisa & Cinque Terre is run by regional trains. Seats are not assigned. The Cinque Terre are located 2h30m outside of Florence in the Liguria region. The villages can only be visited by regional trains or boat so in high season due to the popularity of the villages, the trains could be very crowed and subject to delays. Seats might not be always guaranteed during these months. Be prepared!
  • Don’t bring any valuable items on the tour. Thieves are frequent on trains and in the main touristy points
