Continue along the coast to breathtaking Polignano a Mare, dramatically set atop limestone cliffs and famous for its stunning viewpoints and turquoise waters. Birthplace of Domenico Modugno, Polignano blends natural beauty with cultural charm.

Before returning to Bari, you may choose to end the day with an optional aperitivo by the marina as the sun sets over the sea.

Leave Bari behind and travel to Alberobello, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where you’ll explore independently among the iconic trulli, limestone dwellings with conical roofs that give the town its fairytale charm. Stroll past artisan shops, cozy cafés, and restaurants set inside the trulli, soaking up an atmosphere that feels both timeless and lively.

Continue to Matera, one of Italy’s most extraordinary UNESCO historic cities, where the ancient Sassi reveal a dramatic landscape of cave homes, rock-cut stairways, and breathtaking ravine views.

Return to Bari in the evening to enjoy your final night in this captivating southern city.

Board the train from Bari to Lecce, a city so elegant and ornate it’s earned the nickname “Florence of the South”. Upon arrival, settle into your accommodation before heading out on a gentle orientation walk through the golden-hued historic center. As you wander past intricate Baroque façades, sunlit piazzas, and lively artisan boutiques, you’ll quickly understand why Lecce steals the heart of every traveler.

Check out in the morning and enjoy a day dedicated to sun, sea, and spectacular coastal scenery along the Adriatic coast. Stop first in Otranto, a charming seaside town with a relaxed holiday vibe, then continue to Torre dell’Orso, famous for its golden sands and crystal-clear waters, perfect for swimming, unwinding, or a seaside lunch. Discover the stunning Grotta della Poesia, a natural limestone pool renowned as one of the most beautiful swimming spots in the world.

Conclude the day in Gallipoli, where the atmospheric old town by the sea sets the scene for an evening stroll and local dining.

You can simply lounge on Gallipoli’s golden beaches, soak up the sun, and take a refreshing dip in the turquoise waters. A perfect way to recharge or dive into history & culture, strolling through the atmospheric old town and the iconic 17th-century Aragonese Castle overlooking the sea. Explore artisan shops, local markets, and quaint cafés at your leisure.

Tonight, we’ll gather for our final dinner together, a night to celebrate, savor Puglian flavors, and make memories that will last long after your journey ends.
