A short stay in Rome in which you will get to know the top attractions of Rome, the Eternal City.

We will arrange your accomodation and tours so you will not miss out on anything. Once you book with us, we will send you a more detailed program about the accommodation and the itinerary.

In this 3 days 2 nights, you will have plenty of time to wander the city, learn about the ancient history of the Romans, try some typical Roman cuisine and lots more. We arrange everything for you to lay back and embrace the authentic Italian culture , you won’t have a strict schedule or a tour guide to follow 24/7. We are going to provide you useful tips, suggestions on what to do, eat and see on your free time.

This tour includes a guided visit to the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel and another one to the Colosseum, both 2hr long with specialized licensed tour guides. You can let us know which of our available schedules works best for you. The accommodation is of course, figured out as well and it is in Rome’s city center, close to Termini Station.

Itinerary

Day 1Welcome to Rome

Check in isn’t until 15:00, but don’t worry if you arrive earlier than that, once you get there, you can leave all of your belongings in the luggage room of the accommodation. Any time after 15:00, you will be welcomed by the staff and lead to the room where you’ll be staying for the following days. Ask the reception for a map of Rome and feel free to ask them for suggestions depending on what you want to do. You’ll have a free evening in which you could visit a typical Trattoria romana, walk through the Via dei Fori Imperiali and finish in the Colisseum, the iconic symbol of Rome, make your way to a the Trevi Fountain and admire it lit up during night while making a wish and throwing your coin, or just relax in your accommodation’s bar.

Day 2A day full of sightseeing

Wake up and drink a coffee for absorbing all the information you’ll be about to learn. Walking tour of the Colisseum starting at 9:00. Meet in the information point in Via Dei Fori Imperiali (precise instructions will be provided prior to the tour) with your licensed tour guide of the Colisseum and Roman Forum and the rest of the participants of the tour. With a skype-the line access, you’ll start with the visit of the Colisseum, the most important amphitheatre, stage of the fights between gladiators. It will proceed to the Roman Forum, the area of Roman lifestyle, where you will admire basilicas, temples and publc areas from back in time. From here, you will continue towards the Capitoline Hill, the center of political and religious activities in Rome.

Finish the tour approximately at 11:30.

From 11:30 till 2:00, you have some free time to eat lunch, and do whatever you want to do before starting your way towards the Vatican. Meet in Via Sebastiano Veniero, 21, at 2:30. Your guided tour of the Vatican will start here, where you will meet the licensed and expert tour guide and the rest of the participants taking a part of the tour. This guided tour will start with skip the line access for entering the Vatican museums. Once here, you will be guided towards the main pieces of art hosted in this world famous museum. You will continue towards the Sistine Chapel, where you will finally get to see the famous and unique frescoes of Michelangelo, and last but not least, you will continue towards St. Peter’s Basilica, where you are going to be free to explore at your own, buy a ticket for climbing the dome, or just admiring St. Peter’s square. Tour will finish approximately at 5:30. From this point onwards you have free time to relax or go to discover some more attractions of Rome.

Day 3Bye bye Rome or extend your stay

Last day. Unfortunately, the check out from your accomodation needs to take place at 10:00 at last. However, you can also keep your luggage in the storage room till you are ready for taking it away with you. Otherwise, If you think you will need more time to properly get to know this Eternal City, book an extra night with us and have an extra day.
