Tour Itinerary

Begin your journey by heading toward the Casentino Forest National Park, one of Italy’s largest and most unspoiled protected areas. Whether by private driver or self-drive, you’ll reach the snowy woods where a local environmental guide will welcome you for a soft winter hike. You’ll walk through a magical forest of fir, beech, and snow-covered silence, spotting animal tracks and learning about nature in winter.

After your walk, warm up inside a rustic farmhouse or refuge where a traditional Tuscan lunch awaits: warming soups, polenta, pecorino cheese, beans, and red wine.

In the afternoon, you’ll visit one of the area’s historic spiritual sites, either the Eremo di Camaldoli, where monks have lived for centuries, or the Santuario della Verna, connected to St. Francis of Assisi. These places offer unique architecture, stories, and a deep sense of peace, especially in winter. You may stop at a small artisan workshop (wood or sacred art) or a panoramic viewpoint before
returning to your base.
